Phakchok Rinpoche’s newest book, Awakening Dignity, explores how our inherent dignity could be much more powerful than the anxieties, self-doubts, and low self-esteem that can seem so overwhelming. Since Rinpoche’s co-author Sophie Wu is currently working with Shambhala Publications to develop an on-line course based on the book, we will take this opportunity to read and discuss this book together, in the manner of a book club. Meetings will be preceded by a meditation period, with instruction to acquaint attendees with the practices developed in this introductory book, which is suitable for all backgrounds.
